LG전자, 세계 최초 ‘가변형 올레드 TV’선보여

LG전자가 미국 라스베이거스에서 열리는 ‘2014 CES’에서 ‘가변형 올레드 TV’를 공개했다.

‘가변형 올레드 TV’는 화면곡률을 사용자가 원하는 각도로 휘어질 수 있도록 설계한 TV다.

특히 이 TV는 사용자가 리모컨으로 화면 곡률을 자유롭게 조절할 수 있어 사용자에게 최적화된 시청 환경을 제공한다. 곡률은 평면부터 화면 크기와 시청 거리 등을 종합적으로 고려한 최대 곡률까지 조정 가능하다.

LG전자는 ‘가변형 올레드 TV’를 선보임으로써 올레드 TV 분야에서 가변형, 곡면형, 평면형에서 모두 ‘세계 최초’ 타이틀을 거머쥐게 됐다.

LG전자 HE사업본부장 하현회 사장은 “‘가변형 올레드 TV’는 현존하는 TV 기술의 정점”이라며 “기술혁신을 통한 차별화된 올레드 TV 제품을 지속적으로 선보여 차세대 TV의 방향성을 제시해 나갈 것”이라고 말했다.
